Oh, my God, you guys. I went to go see Van Halen last night at Pepsi Center in Denver, and HOLY FUCKING SHIT, IT WAS AMAZING!!!! I swear, I thought I was dreaming. Eddie just blew me away. I've loved Van Halen since I was 2 or 3 years old, and I can't believe I got to see them. I swear, whenever I saw Eddie just shred on his guitar (well, practically, he was shredding throughout the entire show, lol), I thought my face was gonna melt. Eddie is just a fucking legend, jeez. That does go without saying, but I love Eddie. I was on the side view (on Wolfgang's side of the stage) with my brother and his friend Jordann.

They played songs that Diamond Dave (David Lee Roth) obviously sang on, and they didn't play any songs from Sammy's era (that also kinda goes without saying, lol). Wolfie (Wolfgang) was really good, but I don't think that Van Halen still isn't the same without Michael Anthony. Don't get me wrong, I like Wolfie, and I don't think that he can be Eddie's son without shredding any kind of instrument. Lol.

Anyway, they played songs like And The Cradle Will Rock, Runnin' with the Devil, Ain't Talkin' Bout Love, Ice Cream Man, Panama, I'll Wait, You Really Got Me, Tattoo, etc. Personally, I don't like Tattoo. That song is not bad, but it's not good either, in my opinion. But they opened up with Unchained and ended with Ain't Talkin' Bout Love. They came back onstage and played Jump as the encore song.

Last, but certainly not least, I'm gonna talk about Eddie's solo!!!!

Eddie's solo...HOLY SHIT, IT WAS AMAZING!!!!!!!! From what I could tell, he did a combination of Eruption, Cathedral, and Spanish Fly. I couldn't tell, because I was just blown away with what was happening right before my eyes. Lol. I don't think that Eddie didn't have to try to shred because, hello, HE'S FUCKING EDDIE VAN HALEN!!!! Lol. In my opinion, Eddie is among the Top 5 Guitar Gods, along with Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, Randy Rhoads, and David Gilmour. I would put Steve Vai in there as well (even though that would make it 6 guitar gods). Lol. Sorry for going on a tangent.

Anyway, Eddie just blew me away with his guitar solo. He was just sitting on the stairs onstage in front of Alex's drum set, and he was just shredding on his guitar. He was just playing his fucking heart out. For me, I was just amazed with what I was seeing. I'm pretty sure that my face was gonna melt off. EDDIE IS JUST A FUCKING LEGEND, OH, MY GOD!!!!

I think that Van Halen is possibly the best show I've ever seen (so far). I have yet to wait for Mayhem, and Mayhem is gonna be fucking amazing!! I don't know if I'll be able to see Def Leppard with Poison and Lita Ford later in June, but hopefully, I can. I'm also planning on wanting to see KISS with Motley Crue, and hopefully, IRON MAIDEN ON MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!! And I thought last year had all of the good shows, and boy, was I wrong. Lol. This year DEFINITELY has all of the good shows.
