*sigh* Hello. How ya'll doing? My name is Page, aka Toxic Revenge, which is my alter ego/Killjoy. I don't know why, but for some reason, I always come up blank whenever I write a little bio about me. Lol. I'll try my best. Here we go. :D
Um...I was born in Colorful Colorado, and I love it. I consider Colorado to be my permanent home (even though it's the only state I've ever lived in, har har), and I don't ever plan on moving out of the state.
I'm not like most girls. Lol. I'm the kind of girl that'll just be off in the corner doing her own thing. But I'm very passionate. For example: Music is my passion. I honestly don't know where I would be without it. To quote Billie Joe Armstrong: "Music, to me, is the air that I breathe. It's the blood that pumps through my veins, that keeps me alive".
I guess you could say I'm also passionate about movies. I love watching movies all day, every day. Lol. My favorite movie is Titanic (yes, I know I'm lame). It's probably one of the first movies I ever watched, besides The Song Remains The Same and A Hard Day's Night (I'll get to that in a minute). :D
I pretty much love any comedy, action, sci-fi, music, and horror movies. Other than Titanic, other movies that are my very favorites include Twister, School of Rock, Almost Famous, Scream, Edward Scissorhands, Sweeney Todd (or pretty much any Tim Burton movie, for that matter), etc. And if you ask me who my favorite actor is, it's Johnny Depp, with Leonardo DiCaprio at number two. :D
Okay. I'm gonna stop before I go on a long rant about movies. :P
I have a huge heart, but some of those times, my heart is full of daggers. I'm a really nice girl, but you wouldn't wanna fuck with me, not to brag. Lol. :D
I've been struggling with depression for the past few years, but I'm feeling better nowadays. However, I relapse every now and then.
My idols/heroes include Gerard Way, Billie Joe Armstrong, Corey Taylor, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Lzzy Hale, Johnny Depp, and Jim Morrison. They all have a special place in my heart. They have helped me get through so much shit in my life, and I don't know how I could ever thank them. They've also taught me that it's okay to be messed up. They don't give a frog's fat ass about what other people think of them, and that's what I love.
My number one favorite band of all time is The Beatles. They were the very first band that I ever listened to, and I've been in love with them since then. They have inspired me to start playing music. Because of them, music is my life, as I already said before. :P
My 2nd favorite band of all time would have to be Led Zeppelin. I fell in love with them around the same time that I fell in love with The Beatles. And I was about 2 years old. Lol. I remember I would watch The Song Remains the Same every single day. Have you noticed something about my name? My name is Page, but it's spelled without the I. And that is because my parents named me after Jimmy Page, who happens to be my favorite guitarist. And that is really fucking cool, in my eyes.
For the longest time, I was figuring out my list of my Top 10 All Time Favorite Bands. Now, after putting many excruciating hours of thinking about it, I believe I'm at peace with the list I came up with. :P
1. The Beatles
2. Led Zeppelin
3. KISS
4. Van Halen
5. Rush
6. Avenged Sevenfold
7. My Chemical Romance
8. Green Day
9. Slipknot
10. Halestorm
*sigh* There ya go. Lol. Should I think about my Top 15 or Top 20 favorite bands?
...Uh, not right now. :P
Now, onto something slightly random. I find Jim Morrison to be a very interesting person. Not only was he a great singer, I love the lyrics in his songs. And I'm a huge fan of his poetry. I would say that he and I have the same mindset. :D
"The movie will begin in five moments
The mindless voice announced
All those unseated will await the next show.
We filed slowly, languidly into the hall
The auditorium was vast and silent
As we seated and were darkened, the voice continued.
The program for this evening is not new
You've seen this entertainment through and through
You've seen your birth your life and death
you might recall all of the rest
Did you have a good world when you died?
Enough to base a movie on?"
Quotes I live by:"I think of myself as an intelligent, sensitive human being with the soul of a clown which always forces me to blow it at the most important moments." -Jim Morrison
"Be yourself, don't take anyone's shit, and never let them take you alive". -Gerard Way
“I have come to accept myself for what I am: human. I am not perfect. I am not immune to fate, but I am not automatically doomed for being alive. I feel temptations every second of every day and I am not controlled by them. I do what I want anyway, so who is to say I want anything else? When I want, I let these peculiarities run across me like dogs to their masters. When I do not, I keep them at bay with my will and my testimony. I do not cut myself off from what makes me feel; I just refuse to feel anything that cuts me off from what matters most. It is called will power. With a little practice, you can accomplish great things.” -Corey Taylor
*sigh* How was that? Good? I hope I didn't bore you to death. :P Well, since I don't have anything else to say at this particular moment, I'll leave you a list of concerts that I have been to over the course of my life. Here it is, if anyone is interested. :D
